Top 3 Internet Providers

The internet today is used widely by millions of people all over the world through broadband. Many people however question who the best internet provider is. Below are 3 of the top internet providers available to help you choose which package is best suited to you.

BT

BT offers a range of packages including a broadband and phone package and a TV, broadband and phone package.

BT’s broadband and phone packages can range anywhere between £13 a month to £35 a month. The cheapest package gives the user a download speed of up to 16Mb and a monthly usage of 10GB. Evening and weekend calls are included and the first 6 months is free. The more expensive package gives you a download speed of up to 160Mb and you are able to have unlimited usage. Again evening and weekend calls are available.

The TV, broadband and phone package include TV Essential and TV unlimited. TV Essential allows the user to pay each time they want to watch a show from On Demand. TV unlimited includes all of the shows On Demand and they can be watched as many times as you want without an additional charge.

The TV essential packages can range between £18 - £31 a month whereas TV unlimited range between £25 - £38.50 a month.

Plusnet

Plusnet offers a range of broadband and phone offers from as little as £6.49 to £15.49 a month. The reason Plusnet show their prices as ‘from’ is because some areas are more low cost than others. Up to 80% of homes in the UK will be able to get the lowest price but for those living in higher cost areas they will have to pay a little bit more.

The cheapest package that Plusnet offers you has a download speed of 16Mb, a 10GB monthly usage and evening and weekend calls. The most expensive package also has a download speed of 16Mb but it has 60 GB of usage a month and talk anytime UK calls.

Sky

Sky offers a huge range of bundles for their customers to choose from so that they get something that will suit their needs and expectations. The cheapest bundle is as little as £10 a month offering the customer unlimited broadband and weekend calls. The most expensive bundle costs £73.25 a month and offers the customer unlimited broadband, weekend calls, Sky HD, Sky sports, Sky movies and Sky entertainment extra.

As well as broadband service users can opt to use dial up internet which for many is a better option for those living in rural areas and for those on a tight budget.
